By accessing or using GharEdukaan ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. GharEdukaan is operated as a marketplace connecting local sellers with buyers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Marketplace Platform

GharEdukaan acts as a marketplace connecting buyers with local sellers. We facilitate transactions but are not directly responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of products listed by sellers. Each seller is independently responsible for their products and business practices.

5. Orders & Payments

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
• Payment processing is handled securely through Razorpay
• Orders are subject to availability and confirmation by the seller
• We reserve the right to cancel orders suspected of fraud or in violation of our policies
• Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on seller and location

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies may vary by seller. Generally, orders can be cancelled before shipment. Refunds for eligible returns are processed within 7-10 business days. Please refer to the specific seller's return policy for detailed information.

7. Seller Terms

Sellers on GharEdukaan must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Sellers are responsible for accurate product descriptions, pricing, inventory management, and timely order fulfillment. GharEdukaan reserves the right to remove listings or suspend seller accounts for violations.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Interfere with the Platform's security features
• Scrape or harvest data without authorization
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Engage in any activity that disrupts the Platform experience for others

9. Intellectual Property

All content on GharEdukaan, including logos, designs, text, and software, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent. Seller-uploaded product images remain the property of the respective sellers.

10. Limitation of Liability

GharEdukaan provides the Platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of GharEdukaan shall be governed by the laws of India. Disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through mediation, and if unsuccessful, through the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
